Judgment (Short; 2007)
fade in:
int. room - day
The face of a balding, middle-aged MAN seethes with rage.
man
Filthy, disgusting faggots . . .
In full view, the man is a minister in a crowded church.
man/minister (cont'd)
It's the duty of all true Christians to stomp out this vermin . . .
He clutches his heart and gasps, before collapsing.
int. pearly gates - later
PETER, a winged angel, smilingly motions an elderly COUPLE inside. The minister, next in line, comes forward. The gates close in front of him. Peter frowns and shakes his head.
peter
Sorry, no room for hate in here.
minister
What do you mean -- I've done the Lord's work my whole life!
peter
You've certainly done someone's work. But don't worry -- we'll send you somewhere real nice. And warm.
ext. beach road - same
The minister appears on the shoulder. He tries to walk forward, but is stopped by an invisible force-field. He turns to his left and sees a sign on the opposite side of the street. He crosses the road.
The sign reads: "PROVINCETOWN." The minister hears voices. He turns to his right and sees dozens of gay men and women frolicking in the sand -- kissing and touching each other. The minister falls to his knees, screaming maniacally.
